Hyderabad: Congress MLA Naini Rajender Reddy on Tuesday said he is ready for an open debate with Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy on development of Warangal.
In a video message, he said, “Tell us the date and time. We’ll show the funds we brought for the overall development of Warangal. Can you also show yours?” he said.
“If I can’t bring more funds than in the past, I’ll resign. If we prove the development we’ve done, will you resign?” he asked. “You decide the date and time. We are ready to come,” he added.
On Monday, Kishan Reddy said that the Warangal airport would be operational within a year and presented a detailed report card related to the city development. He challenged the claims of the Congress and BRS that the Centre neglected the local development.
