Katie Price has missed a premiere after returning to Dubai to be with her husband Lee Andrews and friends are reportedly worried for the star as she skips work

Katie Price has missed the glitzy London premiere of her upcoming film, as friends express their worry. This comes as Katie returned to Dubai to be with her husband Lee Andrews.
Though she flew to London to promote her documentary, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, Katie was back in Dubai by the time her upcoming film Jackie The Stripper was having its own premiere. She was said to be attending the event on 2 July, but told fans earlier in the week that she wouldn’t be there.
Additionally, her podcast with her sister was late to arrive on Spotify. The weekly podcast is usually put on the streaming platform early on a Thursday but didn’t drop until the afternoon.
Her friends are reportedly worried for Katie, as she skipped the premiere to stay in Dubai with Lee. One source told the Sun: “It is so unlike Kate to miss such a big work event.” They added that she “always wanted to pursue” acting but now, “all Kate seems to care about is staying with Lee in their ‘Dubai bubble'”
There is reportedly a “real concern” that Katie would be missing more commitments in the future, which the source suggested could damage her position in the showbiz industry.
But Katie later took to Instagram to say that Lee was not the reason she didn’t go to the premiere. She wrote on her stories: “I’ve cancelled nothing. I’ve actually been promoting my documentary for Sky and had a week off so why would I fly back to a film I’m not contracted to be at and only in for two mins?”
She added: “I only do work I’m paid to do.” The star also reposted someone else’s story, where they said: “Katie was never contacted to attend the premiere and was not offered a fee to attend. She was expected to attend for free and to do press to promote for free!
“Katie features in the movie for two mins! Why would she fly all the way back from Dubai to attend something she’s not obligated to go to!”
Katie has been going back and forth between Dubai and England since she married Lee in January 2026. Their wedding happened just 10 days after they met.
She and Lee have recently adopted a dog together. Katie shared on 28 June that she and her husband Lee Andrews were “proud parents” of a “baby boy” as they signed the paperwork to buy a new dog and spent £2,000 on the pomsky puppy. This post came just days after she posted to the same platform about how her cats had gone missing from her home in England.
