His demise has left his family devastated. Soon after his death, the two prime suspects, Siya and Chetan were taken into police custody. Now, as per police statements, Siya Goyal has admitted to rehearsing Ketan’s death at a space near a club.

It’s been nearly 15 days that Ketan Agarwal died and with each passing day, the police officials reveal a new update on the case, sending shockwaves to the entire nation. Well, on July 2, 2026, Siya Goyal was photographed with the investigators. Reportedly, police took her to an open space, where she and Chetan allegedly rehearsed Ketan Agarwal’s death. After reaching the location, Siya identified the area and admitted to rehearsing the crime. Sharing details, a police officer said:
“Investigation has revealed that Siya and Chetan had rehearsed at an open space near a club in Lullanagar how to push Ketan off the cliff at Lohagad Fort. Today, Siya was taken to the spot, where she identified the place where they had allegedly carried out the rehearsal. We have also collected substantial amount of technical and digital data, which is currently being analysed and cross-verified.”
As per a report by The Hindu, prior to this, the officials had visited Siya Goyal’s house. During their visit, they found the clothes that she wore on June 18, 2026, when she allegedly pushed Ketan Agarwal off the Lohagad Fort with the help of her boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary. It is worth noting that Siya’s clothes might unveil some important information about Ketan’s death. During the visit, Siya’s father had a conversation with the media, during which he refused to talk about the case, citing his health. He shared:
“The police had come to the house today but I did not meet anyone. They did their work and were here for around 30-45 minutes. The doctor has advised me to take rest. My health is down. I do not want to speak about this case. I do not have the strength for it. The police did not ask me anything.”
It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, the police officials recreated the crime with Chetan Chaudhary. Reportedly, the accused and investigators went to the Lohagad Fort near Pune and threw a dummy in the same manner Ketan Agarwal might have been pushed. During the same, Siya guided the police towards the route they took while trekking.
Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary to undergo a lie detector test
As per latest updates, Siya Goyal and her rumoured boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary are all set to undergo a lie detector test. Reportedly, the polygraph test is expected to unveil the entire truth about the spine-chilling death of Ketan Agarwal. It was on July 2, 2026, when Siya’s lawyer gave her consent for the test.
For those who do not know, Siya Goyal was all set to tie the knot with Ketan Agarwal in November 2026, in a Rs. 17 crore wedding in Rajasthan. However, the 20-year-old, who was in love with Chetan, chose to push the 26-year-old businessman towards his death. Amid that, both Siya and Ketan’s family have been demanding the strictest punishment for the one, who brutally killed the latter.
