Harry Styles has broken the record for the most performances by any single artist at Wembley Stadium in a calendar year, eclipsing Coldplay’s 10-night run in 2025 and Taylor Swift’s 8-night stint in 2024
Harry Styles is currently performing a historic 12-night residency at Wembley Stadium, which began on June 12 and concludes today (July 4), as the centrepiece of his global Together, Together tour.
By doing so, the singer – originally from Redditch, Worcestershire – has broken the record for the most performances by any single artist at the iconic London venue in a calendar year, eclipsing Coldplay’s 10-night run in 2025 and Taylor Swift’s 8-night stint in 2024. Across the entire run, Harry will have played to over one million fans. The residency supports the 32-year-old’s fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., which shifted his sound toward heavy synth-pop, electronic beats, and euro-disco styles.
The set design consists of three interconnected, lower-profile catwalks looping deep into the floor to maintain an intimate club-like proximity within a massive venue.
Videos circulating on X show Harry becoming emotional and bursting into tears after breaking the Wembley Stadium after his eleventh consecutive show there.
The clips instantly began going viral with millions of views, as fans of the Watermelon Sugar star admitted they ‘couldn’t handle’ seeing him like that.
One exclaimed: “I’m so proud of him for his record as the most nights at Wembley this year!! But it’s so hard to see him crying.”
While another added: “Proud of you Harry!”
A third added: “Why am I also crying.”
While a fourth chimed in: “Wait this is the first time he’s actually allowed himself to cry on stage and I just wanna give him a big hug, oh my God.”
The show features new dance-heavy album tracks like “Aperture”, “Pop”, and “Taste Back”, interspersed with his career-defining solo mega-hits like “As It Was”, “Watermelon Sugar”, and “Sign of the Times”.
Every show also includes a mid-set string section performance of classic One Direction tracks (“Night Changes / History”) and a rotation of highly anticipated “surprise songs” such as “Matilda”, “Little Freak”, and “Cherry”.
Country-pop royalty Shania Twain has been the exclusive special guest at the shows, kicking off the music every single night at 6:55pm.
With tonight being the final show of Harry’s 12-night residency, we’re betting on more emotional displays from the star and his fans during the night.
