Chloe Burrows has “hard launched” her new boyfriend on Instagram as she joked that she might “regret” doing so when she is sober in the morning
Chloe Burrows “hard launched” her new boyfriend on Instagram whilst on a night out. The reality star, who shot to fame when she competed on Love Island in 2021, had been on holiday on a evening out when she took to social media to reveal her new partner to her followers.
In February 2025, Chloe confirmed that she was dating again and, in the early hours of Monday morning, a video of herself outside of a restaurant with Ruben Moreira in the background appeared on her social media.
Alongside the video, which she shared onto her Instagram page, she wrote: “I’ll regret this in the morning but lemme hard launch Rubeycakes.”
Fans were quick to react to finally get a glimpse of her new man, with one writing: “You and Rubey cakes are my favourite couple!!! Both incredibly hot and meant for each other!”
Another said: “Haha what a way to launch rubeycakes!! Love you two,” and a third quipped: “Good Job chlo hes hot.” A fourth said: “wow you look absolutely gorgeous and look absolutely stunning you are well beautiful and hope your having a really nice Monday.”
“Oh it appears I’m violently hungover,” she shared in another post on her Instagram story on Monday morning.
This relationship announcement comes shortly after a source explained that podcast host Chloe, who has appeared on Scared of the Dark and Celebs Go Dating since finding fame, was in the “early” stages of her relationship but they were introduced through Liam Reardon, who competed on and eventually won Chloe’s series of Love Island with now ex-girlfriend Millie Court.
A source told The Sun : “It’s early days for Chloe and Ruben but they have known each other a while through Liam Reardon and they get on like a house on fire. They holidayed in Australia together in a big group at the start of the year and romance blossomed there. Now they are on holiday together in Dubai, so it’s heating up.”
During her time on Love Island, Chloe had a relationship with Toby Aromolaran, but the pair called it quits after making it to the final of the series and finishing in second place.
Chloe “soft launched” her relationship with Ruben more than a year ago, when she posted a picture on her Instagram Stories of them both and, later on, when a fan said they ‘loved a soft launch’, she shared a selfie on her Snapchat. In the picture, Ruben stuck his face close to the camera and stuck his tongue out.
Toby then spoke about his time with her, which he called ‘fantastic’ as he sung her praises. He said: “I was angry after it finished and I went through the hate stage but that relationship was fantastic and we had a great time. It was basically perfect and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
“That relationship is a part of me and I’ll carry what I had with Chloe for the rest of my life. People say this about Love Island relationships. The connection is deep so I’ll feel connected to Chloe for the rest of my life. She might not be in my life but she’ll always be a part of my life.”
When asked whether there could ever be a reconciliation, he told Genting Casino : “No. For both of us. We’re different people. If it was meant to be we’d be together but it didn’t work. I think we’re at different stages of our lives and different people.
