Little House on the Prairie star Luke Bracey’s life away from the cameras is intriguing his fans.
The actor plays Charles ‘Pa’ Ingalls in Netflix ’s reimagining of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s beloved Little House on the Prairie novels, which was released on July 9.
The eight-part series is a wholesome frontier tale that follows the Ingalls as they embark on a new life in Kansas after leaving behind their home in Wisconsin.

Australian star Bracey hails from Sydney and never intended to pursue an acting career. Instead, the 37-year-old set his sights on the rugby pitch and hoped to become a player after he finished school.
He also thought he’d probably follow his father’s footsteps into his construction business and even planned to attend university to develop further expertise. Bracey previously told Square Mile: “I never wanted to be in movies or to be an actor.”
However, fate had other ideas. Bracey got a call from a TV producer, a father of one of his friends, asking him to audition for something. Although he didn’t get the part, Bracey was later called up by a casting agent and landed the part of Trey Palmer in Home and Away.
It wasn’t long before Hollywood came calling and he started getting other offers in the likes of Monte Carlo, The November Man, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Point Break and Hacksaw Ridge.
More recently, he’s appeared in Little Fires Everywhere, Holidate and Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis. His role in Little House on the Prairie, which has already been greenlit by Netflix for a second season, is likely to send his profile soaring further.

Bracey is friends with Hollywood actress Emma Roberts, with the pair working together both on the Christmas romantic comedy Holidate and Maybe I Do.
Roberts even messaged Bracey to join Maybe I Do, which saw the pair working with Hollywood icons Richard Gere, Diane Keaton, William H Macey and Susan Sarandon.
Roberts, who was interviewing Bracey for Square Mile, also revealed that the pair had received scripts with people wanting them to reunite after Holidate, but admitted that until Maybe I Do came along it hadn’t been the right project.
They both said they’d love to work together again and Bracey explained: “You are awesome. I love working with you, love being your mate, looking forward to going to the pub as soon as possible, and making another film.”

Bracey was also previously linked to Mexican actor Eiza González, who has starred in Baby Driver and I Care A Lot. However, since then it’s unclear who the actor is now dating or if he’s single.

Bracey revealed how he left his Holidate co-star Roberts in a state of “ultimate confusion” for 30 seconds when they were doing a chemistry read.
Roberts revealed that she’d believed Bracey was American and was left surprised when the movie’s director asked him to use his natural Australian actor for the reads. She revealed: “I was like, ‘You’re Australian?’ I’d seen you doing American only, and I was like, ‘Wait, what’s happening?’”
The Wild Child star said she’d wished director John Whitesell had told her before they did the chemistry read, but all was quickly forgotten after the initial surprise.
Bracey explained how they both started laughing and thought it was “really funny” and realising that the film would work out.
