A former star of the BBC show The Apprentice has been rushed to hospital after suffering a suspected stroke that stopped her from using her leg or arm

Former Apprentice star Rochelle Anthony has revealed that she was rushed to a hospital with a suspected stroke. The BBC star, who appeared on the business competition in 2023, shared the news from her A&E bed.

Anthony posted a photo of herself connected to medical equipment and explained that she had to be taken to hospital after she suddenly loss the use of one side of her body, including an arm and a leg. She said: “Dolls, I am in A&E with a suspected stroke.

“I am so sorry for any clients I need to reschedule! Please bear with me. Stress and trauma really are crazy triggers for serious conditions. I have no use of my left leg and left arm.”

She added that she would be off her phone while she recovered and that those who needed to get in touch with her should contact her business account so that someone could get back to them.

This isn’t the first time Anthony has had to tell her followers about a medical issue. The star opened up about a health emergency she suffered in 2024. She disclosed that she had been in excruciating pant for weeks and was eventually diagnosed with gallstones, which had been. trapped in her bile duct.

She was unable to pass the stones due to their size and, as such, she needed a specialist to help get rid of them. This was despite a surgery she’d already had to remove the gallbladder and 19 gallstones the year before.

Anthony rose to fame when she was on The Apprentice in 2023. The beauty salon owner made it the final of that year’s series. She just missed out on winning the show, but he went with Marnie Swindells and her boxing gym as his winner.

Sadly, 2026 began with a major life change for Anthony, as she and her husband of 10 years split. “I’m going through a divorce currently so I’m just finding me again,” she told The Mirror. “I think that’s really important when you end a relationship.

“I was with him for a really long time, obviously married and had kids together, so I’m navigating being a single mum now and a business owner. It’s a lot. It’s huge but it’s a nice new chapter in my journey. It’s all about independence and self-care.”

Rochelle shares eight-year-old son Bentley and six-year-old daughter Hallie with her ex-husband, who stays out of the spotlight, and admits that balancing business, childcare and a divorce is a “constant juggling act”. The Apprentice star runs The Dolls House salon in Milton Keynes.

“I base my work around the children’s pick-ups and collections,” she said. “The glass does get a little empty some days but I’ve got such a supportive and amazing family who live round the corner from me. It’s now about changing things and lowering my expectations a bit more because my kids will always come first.”
