Katie Price has taken off her wedding ring following the release of her new documentary where she shared how her family declined to meet with her fourth husband Lee Andrews

Katie Price has sparked fresh speculation into her controversial marriage to Lee Andrews as she removed her wedding ring just a day after scenes aired from her new documentary where she revealed her family refuse to meet her fourth husband.

The former glamour model, 48, took to social media to share a mirror selfie before heading for a swim, posing in a bright pink bikini as she told fans: “Good morning! Time for a dip in the pool!”

However, eagle-eyed followers were quick to notice that Katie was no longer wearing the large wedding ring she has regularly been pictured with since marrying Lee in Dubai. The star had only been wearing the massive rock on This Morning the day before when she admitted her family did not want to meet her husband.

The post came just a day after the release of her Sky documentary, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, in which the mum-of-five revealed how concerned her loved ones remain about her whirlwind marriage.

Speaking on This Morning to promote the series, Katie admitted her family still doesn’t want to meet Lee, who she married in January just days after the pair met in person.

She said: “My family don’t want nothing to do with him. And you can’t blame them because of what’s out there.”

Katie explained that while she wants her relatives to give Lee a chance, they are refusing because they are trying to protect her.

“I want them to, but at the moment they’re like, ‘No’, because they’re protecting me,” she said.

She added that after the difficult relationships she’s experienced over the years, those closest to her are worried about history repeating itself.

The documentary lays bare those concerns, with Katie’s family openly questioning her decision to marry Lee so quickly. Since bursting into Katie’s life Lee has hit the headlines with a number of crazy claims including being a self-proclaimed millionaire, getting kidnapped and thrown in prison for espionage, has a degree from Cambridge, and has been accused of being a serial conman by several ex-partners.

Her son Junior Andre branded the wedding “the most silliest, stupidest thing”, while her stepfather Paul Price admitted he was “100 percent” angry after learning she had flown to Dubai to marry the businessman.

Katie’s sister Sophie has also voiced her concerns in recent months, telling the star on their podcast that she felt Lee had been “massively mugging you off” after he failed to make it to the UK for a planned television appearance.

The couple have remained under intense public scrutiny since tying the knot, with Lee’s prolonged stay in Dubai fuelling speculation before it emerged he had been detained there over a civil case.

Despite the ongoing controversy, Katie has continued to publicly back her husband, recently describing him on social media as her “perfect match” following a trip to Dubai to see him.
