Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind on Sunday warned of an agitation if the state government failed to allocate an additional five acres of land for the Kendriya Vidyalaya at Chelgal in Jagtial district.

Addressing a press conference, he said the five acres already allotted for the school was insufficient and sought allocation of another five acres. He said the BJP would launch a protest if the demand was not met.

Referring to the allocation, he said the government had earmarked land following pressure from the BJP.

Criticising Jagtial MLA Dr M. Sanjay Kumar, Arvind said, “Terming local MLA Dr M Sanjay Kumar as the worst person,” and added that the legislator was indulging in “cheap politics.”

He further said, “Unfortunately, Sanjay Kumar was talking on behalf of both the congress and BRS parties,” and alleged that the ruling party had erred in losing T. Jeevan Reddy.

Targeting the state leadership, Arvind said, “The Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy lacked awareness on education and administration. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu should teach alphabets to Revanth Reddy.”
