Katie Price has had a huge tattoo of her eldest son inked on her leg and the work was carried out by a star of E4 hit series Tattoo Fixers, who shared the results on Instagram
Katie Price has had a huge tattoo of her eldest son inked on her leg. The ex-glamour model, 48, is the mother of 24-year-old Harvey with ex-partner Dwight Yorke, and decided to have a permanent tribute to him tattooed on herself.
On Wednesday night, the former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star, who already has around 40 tattoos, appeared on social media in a new post uploaded by Jay Hutton, who is best known for appearing on the E4 hit series Tattoo Fixers.
He wrote on Instagram: “Today I tattooed this portrait of Harvey on @katieprice. Harvey came with Kate and had us laughing all day. What a lad!”
As part of the post, Jay included a picture of himself and Katie, a picture of the tattoo itself, and one of Katie lying face down during the inking process.
Fans were quick to react to the new piece of body art, with one writing: “Lush tattoo!” and another said: “Such a true likeness,” whilst a third wrote: “Harv is such a legend!!”
A fourth said: “Omg that amazing I love it great ink work as always,” and another said: “Jay, your work is incredible [red heart emoji] What a beautiful tattoo, absolutely adore Harvey x”
Katie gave birth to Harvey following a relationship with Dwight Yorke in 2002, and he was diagnosed with the rare genetic disorder shortly after his birth – symptoms include weak muscles and slow development. He is also partially blind and has ADHD and autism.
He was previously enrolled in a residential college in Cheltenham in 2021, before moving into a supported living facility in Southampton. However, in a recent episode of The Katie Price Show podcast, she shed light on their living situation and revealed that he was now back living with her.
She explained: “I think people are noticing I’ve got Harvey here more than I normally do. Normally, he’s in Cheltenham. We’re still waiting for his next placement – now they’re saying next month – because that’s up the road from me. But where he is in Southampton, he just doesn’t like being there.
“When he comes here, you’ve got the TV on, there’s people coming here, people he knows, family, a normal environment. He just walks around. He doesn’t like the doors there…
“It’s so hard, even the transition to the other places. When he’s there, he texts me, “I hate it here, Mum. I just need you. I want your cuddles, hold my hand”. It pulls on your heart. So I’ve got him here and it’s hard because I’m working, I’m his carer at the same time. I’m doing it all – which I love doing. But it is tiring.”
