Marc Anthony has become a dad for the eighth time at the age of 57. The singer shared the sweet news on Instagram, revealing wife Nadia Ferreira, 26, had given birth to their daughter.
He shared two adorable photos as he confirmed their daughter has been called Myla. The first image showed the happy couple and their son welcoming their new addition as her three-year-old brother Marco proudly looked over her in the black-and-white image.
A second shot simply showed the gushing parents’ hands as the tot gripped her mum’s finger. Alongside the images, Marc shared a sweet caption in Spanish. It translated to: “What a great blessing to be able to share with you the arrival of our precious MYLA.
“You can’t imagine the happiness we have at home, we are over the moon.”
There was an influx of celebratory messages from the happy couple’s famous pals. Among them was a loving message by hairdresser to the stars Ken Paves, who wrote: “Congratulations!! I’m so happy for you.”
Cuban reggaeton duo Gente De Zona also wrote: “Blessings for that princess brother and for your beautiful family.”
Baby Myla’s arrival marks Marc’s eighth time becoming a dad, over 30 years since his first child was born. The singer is also dad to Arianna, 32, and Chase, 36, with former girlfriend Debbie Rosado.
He welcomed Cristian, 25, and Ryan, 22, with ex-wife Dayanara Torres before having twins Esme and Maximilian with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez. They are now 18 years old.
Nadia and Marc share Marco, three, who arrived just months after the pair tied the knot. They wed in a sweet ceremony in Miami, Florida in January 2023.
They announced news of baby Marco in an adorable fashion at the time. He shared the happy news in a joint post on Instagram, with an adorable picture of his fourth wife’s growing baby bump.
In the snap, Marc sweetly rested his tattooed hand on Nadia’s belly. She put her huge diamond wedding ring on display as she rested her hand on top of Marc’s.
The caption read: “Best Valentine’s Gift Ever!!!” In Spanish, they added: “Thank you God for this great blessing in our lives.”
Marc previously revealed he regrets not spending enough time with his kids during the height of his career. He previously told CBS Sunday Morning: “The one regret would be that what I chose to do took so much of my time…
“What I would have done to have been a stay-at-home dad, and you know, witnessed every second of everything. I would have loved that. Didn’t work out that way.
“It’s the one thing that just tugs at me going and — that’s the biggest sacrifice. And you start to wonder was it all worth it. Was it worth it? You know, on that level.”
