HYDERABAD: A 31-year-old man succumbed to road accident injuries after a speeding car rammed into the rear of a lorry on NH-44 near Amity Park under the Shamshabad police station limits in the early hours of Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as S. Ajay Kumar, 31, a resident of R. B. Nagar in Shamshabad and a driver by profession. According to police, Kumar had informed his family that he was travelling with friends to attend a birthday party at Guduru village in Kothur mandal on Monday evening.

Charan, who sustained head and other bodily injuries, is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Thondupally. Based on a complaint lodged by Kumar’s mother, Shamshabad police registered a case and launched an investigation into the accident.
