Katie Price has broken her silence on claims that her husband Lee Andrews was trying to sell a sex tape of them together, as her sister, Sophie Price, slammed him as “disgusting” in a sweary rant
Katie Price has spoken for the first time about allegations Lee Andrews is trying to sell a sex tape of the two of them together.
It had previously been alleged that Lee had told people that he needed to raise money quickly and could sell a “short video” of him and his wife for “a pretty penny”.
On her podcast, The Katie Price Show, 48-year-old Katie was asked about the claims. “I thought this was disgusting, if I’m honest,” her sister Sophie told her.
Katie then jumped in, denying that there was a sex tape to sell. “Right, can I just say something?” she said. “Number one, I’ve not done a sex tape with Lee. And you did tell the papers that. He has said [that we did] in a voice note, which I sent to you, but he was joking in it.”
Katie then said she was ‘reaching the end of her rope’ with the sordid stories swirling about her husband, who has been branded a conman by fans.
The mum-of-five said: “There is so much coming out about Lee. People are saying, ‘Why isn’t Kate talking?’ Do you want to know why I’m not talking? Because there’s so much, I’m just like, ‘You know what I’m just not commenting.’
“I commented when he went missing. He’s in prison and I will be questioning him about a lot of things when he gets out. It’s ridiculous, There’s so much and there’s no smoke without fire.”
Her sister said she “hoped” Katie would say something to Lee when she saw him.
Refencing his sex tape jokes, Sophie fumed: “The fact that he’s even talking about you in that context to his mates is f***ing out of order and he’s a d***head.”
Katie interrupted: “It wasn’t to his mates, it was to someone professional.” After that, Sophie was left fuming, stating that this made it “even worse”.
Katie was insistent that she would get to the bottom of what was going on with Lee:
On his latest sting in jail she said: “As I’ve always said, Lee has done nothing wrong to me, I’ve not paid for anything, I’ve never given him money, I’ve not paid his bail. But all this stuff coming out, I don’t like what he’s done to everyone else, I don’t like that. That’s not acceptable and I will be finding out.”
The Sun reported that they had obtained a voice recording of Lee trying to sell a sex tape prior to heading back to prison. The publication reported that he backtracked on his words after learning selling such a video would be illegal and said he “wasn’t being serious”. In response, Katie’s representatives denied that a sex tape existed.
Katie also issued a statement at the time on her Instagram stories. She said: “The claims appear to be based on a voicenote sent from Lee discussing a tape… a tape which does not exist and never will. This material has been passed to The Sun by a third party and does not reflect reality.
“I feel incredibly upset, abused and humiliated that such serious and false allegations have been shared publicly without any factual basis.”
Lee’s reported money troubles are said to be over unpaid debts in Dubai. The businessman has allegedly been detained by the police force as he failed to pay back what he owes. He is thought to owe a car rental company 266,060 dirhams (£54,000).
