Coming from a modest farming family in Bihar, she moved to Gurugram in search of a better life. But everything changed when she rescued a mother dog trapped inside a locked factory for 14 days. One act of compassion became a lifelong mission.
Today, she doesn’t run a shelter or have a large team. She works as a teacher, takes home tuitions, and spends almost every rupee she earns feeding and caring for her furry family. She has even shifted houses five times, eventually moving to the outskirts of the city so her dogs could stay with her.
Despite battling severe anemia and being advised complete bed rest, she still wakes up every day to make sure none of them sleeps hungry.
