Slovakia’s center forward Lukas Durik (33) will continue his career at Jadran Herceg Novi after spending two years at Pro Recco.

There has been unofficial information regarding this transfer for a while, especially after Durak officially said goodbye to Pro Recco.

Today, Jadran Herceg Novi announced that Durik had joined the team.

Durik has played for the national team of Slovakia for ten years.

During his two seasons at Recco, he won two Italian Leagues, two Italian Cups, the 2025 Euro Cup, and the silver medal in the 2026 Champions League.

Before coming to Pro Recco, Durik played for several clubs, including Debrecen (Hungary) and Tourcoing (France). He was one of Tourcoing’s best scorers in the seasons 2022/23 and 2023/24.

Five arrivals at Jadran have been confirmed so far: Durik, Danilo Radovic (came from Posillipo), Aleksa Ukropina, Dusan Trtovic (both Novi Beograd) and Luka Murisic (Primorac).

But there were a lot of departures: Vasilije Radovic (Marseille), Djordje Lazić (Panionios), Dmitri Kholod (Oradea), Fran Valera (Sabadell), Jovan Vujović (Spandau 04), Matija Sladović (Apollon), and goalkeeper Ilija Radovic (Buducnost).
