Former Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson has revealed he’s going under the knife for a brand new transformation, just months after undergoing vocal cord surgery

The former Made in Chelsea actor announce the news to co-host and best pal Pete Wicks on their podcast, Staying Relevant.
During a segment of their show discussing five things worth spending the money, Sam, 33, quipped that a hair transplant was well worth the investment. When Pete asked how he would know, the I’m a Celebrity winner confessed: “Because I’m about to have one”.
In true Pete Wicks fashion, his co-host shot back: “Well you don’t know if it’s worth the money because you haven’t seen the results. I’d suggest we hold back on that just in case you come back looking like a Brillo pad.”
The upcoming procedure comes just a few months after Sam underwent surgery to remove a cyst from his vocal cords.
Before the operation, he admitted to his 2.8 million followers that he was nervous about being put to sleep for the operation, explaining: “I talk too much and shout too loudly and I keep losing my voice really easily.
“So yeah they are cutting it out, they are putting me to sleep, I’ve never been put to sleep before. I’m a bit nervous, I don’t like not being in control.”
Recovery proved equally challenging, with three days of mandatory vocal rest. In an emotional update, he told his fans: “I know it sounds crazy, but the last three days was super tough. I didn’t realise how much I need to talk to get my emotions out and how much I need interaction with people.
“Probably just me being soft, and also the ADHD I imagine plays a factor, but yeah it was really quite full on.” He added that he was “so bored” but thankful of all the cat memes.
Sam has refreshingly candid about his neurodivergence and mental health, having previously spoken about being diagnosed with ADHD in 2023, and his past struggles with anxiety.
Over footage of him walking down the street, on-screen text read: “You got diagnosed with ADHD in your late twenties, but something doesn’t add up…”
In the clip. a second version of Sam turns the corner to find another version labelled “Autism” – dressed head-to-toe in an orange T-rex suit. He captioned the post: “Knew there was more to the story.”
The post drew hundreds of supportive comments from fans. One follower wrote: “A guy not being afraid to speak up and share his diagnosis and doing it with humour, is a superpower in my opinion. That kind of openness will definitely help others on their journey too.”
Another added: “Welcome to the gang, life truly makes sense from this point onwards!”
