Katie Price has opened up about a challenge at home involving son Harvey, as she reveals plans to help him turn his creativity into something bigger

Katie Price has revealed she wants to help her eldest son Harvey turn one of his favourite hobbies into a brand-new career, after opening up about a challenge she faces at home because of his remarkable strength.
Speaking to her sister Sophie Price on the Katie Price Show podcast, the former glamour model explained that Harvey’s love of technology has become a constant source of discussion in their household, with the 24-year-old relying on multiple iPads for his creative projects.
Katie said Harvey had become fixated on another of his old devices and was determined to have it working again, despite already using two iPads every day.
She explained: “So I’m having to go and get him another iPad today because he’s driving me mad. And it’s like, you do realise, people only have one iPad, and it lasts. No, Mum, no, ugh.”
According to Katie, Harvey uses each tablet for a different purpose before combining everything into one finished creation.
She said: “But he does actually do different things on all of them, then puts it all together, which is good, but it’s like three iPads.”
The TV personality added that Harvey’s collection of devices represents thousands of pounds’ worth of equipment, but said they are essential because he uses them for drawing, writing, photography and music.
Katie also addressed why simply putting a protective case on the tablets is not a solution, saying many people underestimate just how strong Harvey is.
She said: “And everyone’s always like, you should put cases on. No, Harvey’s strength. If he can break a window screen by punching it, he can break an iPad.”
Despite the ongoing battle to keep his devices working, Katie believes Harvey’s creativity could open the door to an exciting new opportunity.
She revealed she hopes to approach publishers with the idea of turning his digital creations into children’s books.
Katie said: “But I want to go to a publisher, because I think Harvey would be amazing at bringing out his own children’s books.”
She explained that Harvey already spends his time creating illustrated stories on his iPads.
“This is what he does on his iPads. He draws pictures and then he makes a story up next to them,” she said.
Katie added that her aim is to turn those stories into a published book, saying: “That’s what I’m going to try and do for Harv.”
The revelation comes as Katie continues to reflect on the highs and lows of her life in the spotlight. The 48-year-old, who first became famous as the Page 3 model Jordan in 1996, has experienced several public struggles over the years, including periods of severe depression following mental health breakdowns in 2018 and 2021.
Her children Junior and Princess Andre recently opened up about the impact those difficult periods had on their family, describing the time their mum was struggling as “the most difficult time in our lives”.
The pair, who Katie shares with former husband and singer Peter Andre, spoke in her new documentary Katie Price: Nothing To Hide about seeing their mum go through a challenging period following her split from third husband Kieran Hayler after his infidelity.
Junior said: “When Kieran Hayler cheated on her the first time, that literally broke her.”
“That was probably the most difficult time of my life – of our lives – probably,” he continued, referring to himself and his younger sister.
