Hyderabad: The Defence Security Corps (DSC) will conduct a recruitment rally for the re-enrolment of retired Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) personnel as Sepoy (General Duty) and Sepoy Clerk (Staff Duties) at the 1 EME Centre, Secunderabad, from August 1.
Details are available with Headquarters, 1 EME Centre, Bolarum, Secunderabad, on 040-27863016, according to a press release issued by the defence wing of the Press Information Bureau on Thursday.
Ex-servicemen from the Corps of EME are eligible to apply within two years of their retirement. Applicants should not be more than 46 years of age for the post of Sepoy (General Duty) and 48 years for Sepoy Clerk (Staff Duties) as on August 1.
The release stated that candidates must be in SHAPE-1 medical category. Eligible trades include Armourer, Driver (MT), Operator and Driver Recovery, and Clerk (Staff Duties) up to the rank of Havildar.
All eligible ex-servicemen have been asked to report to the Recruitment Cell, Headquarters, 1 EME Centre, Secunderabad, at 7.30 am on August 1 to participate in the rally.
