Frankie Bridge has shared her favourite perfume, and it’s a vanilla and woody fragrance that hails from Victoria Beckham’s beauty line that ‘smells like decadence’

If you’re in search of a luxurious-smelling summery perfume, Frankie Bridge’s top pick might well be the perfect choice. In a recent Instagram Q&A, Frankie was asked to share some of her beauty favourites, including her go-to scent.

Frankie shared two picks, including the 21:50 Rêverie Eau de Parfum from Victoria Beckham’s beauty brand which is an undeniably perfect scent for transitioning between summer and autumn. It’s regularly hailed as a luxurious and seductive-smelling scent by shoppers, and although plenty of women love it, it’s actually a genderless scent that’s suitable for everyone.

It has an amber and woody scent, with notes of tobacco leaves, plum, vanilla, tonka bean and cedarwood which make it warm and rich for the cooler months, whilst still smelling sweet and light enough for summer. The 21:50 Rêverie scent was inspired by Victoria and David’s trip to Java in 2001, with grassy notes of tobacco leaves and the cedarwood of the rainforest they visited.

Victoria said: “21:50 Rêverie represents a profound instant of change in my life in 2001. With this fragrance – a dark, raw vanilla – I am taken right back to an otherworldly night on the island of Java where thousands of tea candles surrounded us. A luscious, earthy scent was in the air and the flames twinkled like flickers of my new life ahead.”

The 21:50 Rêverie perfume is a bit of a splurge purchase, with 50ml costing £170 and 100ml costing £245, so if you’re looking for something a little more affordable, Frankie’s other top perfume pick might be for you. She included Glossier’s You Doux Eau De Parfum in her top two perfumes, which is much more affordable, especially now it’s on sale at Space NK.

Usually a 50ml bottle would cost £70, but it’s now been reduced to £56, making it a much more budget friendly option. Just like the Victoria Beckham one, the Glossier perfume is a genderless scent, and it adapts to each person’s unique scent for a personalised fragrance.

It has a soft, woody aroma which enhances your skin’s unique scent, with top notes of violet, heart notes of myrrh frankincense and palo santo and base notes of ambrox for a musky finish. You can also layer it with other perfumes to create an even more personalised fragrance.

But whilst the 21:50 Rêverie perfume is a splurge, it’s also been hailed as worth the money by plenty of beauty fans. One said: “This is my second time… i actually got the bigger bottle because I can’t get enough of this fragrance! I get sooo many compliments. Thank you Victoria for giving us luxury at its best.”

Another agreed: “Love 21:50 Reverie so uniquely gorgeous warm scent and the packaging is stunning in every way. I also got the full size San Ysidro after trying the discovery set. Victoria Beckham scents are all extraordinarily complex with gorgeous notes that develop beautifully on skin and so elegant; when I wear her scents, they transport me to a happier place and give me an extra bounce in my steps.”

Whilst a third wrote: “This fragrance has been one of the best I’ve ever had. My only very minor complaint: I wish it lasted a little longer. I do feel as though I respray more often with this than Jo Malone. However, extra sprays or not, this fragrance smells like an evening of cocktails and decadence. Which makes me feel like I’m living my best life.”

One shopper did agree about the longevity of the 21:50 Rêverie , writing: “Love the smell but doesn’t seem to last. I got a sample when I purchased the foundation and got a sample of the perfume it seemed to last forever. But after purchasing the bigger bottle for $200 the smell doesn’t last as long. It seems like they do the samples smell stronger into to last longer.”
