Rams star quarterback and reigning NFL MVP Matthew Stafford is preoccupied at his team’s training camp now.
His wife, Kelly, is celebrating her 37th birthday Sunday. And one way she’s celebrating this special day is by sharing quite an interesting video to her Instagram account.
The video (which Kelly posted to her Instagram Story on Sunday) appears to be from one of her friends. It shows Kelly first flipping off the camera.
After that, she began dancing, which included her twirling her right arm like she was holding a lasso. After that, she began shaking her backside for several seconds before breaking into a wide smile and getting right back to her lasso.
Stafford showed off several more dance moves before the camera panned away to what looked like her family cheering her on.
Stafford added the caption, “Nothing like an Alpharetta party / My fav crew, just missing a few 🤣”.
It seems that this video wasn’t taken in the moment, as Kelly has made several posts that show her shepherding her and Matthew’s four daughters around the airport. This was captioned, “‘What are you doing for your birthday?’ Chasing my kids through the Atlanta airport.”
Stafford has gotten flak in recent years for some of what she has said about her and Matthew’s relationship when the two were at the University of Georgia. The backlash from this caused her to leave her podcast because of mental health issues.
It seems like Kelly is in a better place now, if only because she’s comfortable posting videos that could create more scrutiny in her personal social media channels.
Perhaps Matthew and Kelly will celebrate her birthday soon when he has some time off from the Rams’ training camp.
