Melanie Chisholm showed she is very much still Sporty Spice as she flaunted her chiselled abs at Brighton Pride. The Spice Girls star, 52, entertained the crowds after returning from her honeymoon in Ibiza.
She stunned on stage in a geometric print crop top and sports shorts. Her toned physique was on full show when she pulled off her top to reveal her sports bra. And she completed her look with a jazzy pair of sunglasses as she provided an energetic performance in front of her adoring fans.
Her set came a day after the likes of Raye and Jessie J took to the stage at the 35th anniversary of Brighton and Hove’s Pride Festival.
Mel’s performance came days after she and new husband Chris Dingwall returned to Blighty. The duo had exchanged vows in an intimate Lake District wedding before jetting off to sunnier climes.
The couple tied the knot in front of family and pals, including Mel’s former bandmates Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Geri Horner. While Victoria Beckham wasn’t present, she was still very much a big part of the day, designing her friend’s wedding gown.
Mel and Chris celebrated their honeymoon together in Ibiza and were spotted looking extremely loved up. The couple were also celebrating Chris’ 46th birthday and were joined by the singer’s mum and step dad.
Chris seemingly enjoyed the occasion and took to social media to share snaps. In his post, he said: “It’s been a big week! Bit on lately.
“Very grateful to be celebrating the big 4-6 in a very special place with some of the best people I know. Or you know for that matter.”
Mel who had met Chris after a string of unlucky relationships quickly responded in the comments section, saying: ” “Happy Birthday husband. I love you.”
Chris and Mel had met on Raya, the celebrity dating app. They matched three years ago and Chris proposed to Mel last July. The duo had been enjoying a romantic holiday in Mallorca.
Chris’ friend had previously confessed: “He maintains a very low profile, particularly with his relationships. He was based in LA for many years for work and he was surrounded by all sorts of celebrities, but he kept dating and various relationships very low profile.
“What I know of Chris, he doesn’t chase the limelight, however is very drawn to it. He doesn’t want to be centre stage and would be happy for Mel to be there, but he has always had a lure for media.”
