Amy Childs has been left ‘shaken’ after she returned from holiday with her family to find robbers trashed her £1.7million Essex mansion

TOWIE star Amy Childs is reportedly “absolutely heartbroken” as it has been revealed that she’s returned home from a family holiday to learn that her home has been ransacked.

The TV personality, 36, was away with her husband Billy Delbosq and their three children, Polly, and twins Billy and Milly, and had been sharing snaps of their family time abroad together before they learned of the news.

“Amy and her family returned from holiday to find that thieves had broken into her home and completely trashed the place,” a source told The Sun.

They added that she was “heartbroken” by the destruction, but “grateful” they weren’t in the home when the robbery took place.

“She’s absolutely heartbroken. She is just grateful that she and the kids were away when it happened, because it would have been terrifying if they had been there when the burglars came.

“She can’t even bear to think about that but it’s still left her shaken. At the moment, she isn’t sure exactly what’s been taken as the place is totally wrecked and police have been there along with forensics.”

They added that she was completely freaked out and the ordeal has been “a total nightmare”.

A representative for Amy confirmed the burglary to The Sun and confirmed that no one was hurt and the police are investigating the incident.

Previously Amy had shared images of her mansion on her social media page, and in June 2025 she said she felt like “the luckiest girl in the world” as she showed off her new pool.

Amy showed off her new pool as walked around the garden to tell followers about the lavish addition. She captioned the post: “I have just come and sit here by the pool feeling the luckiest girl in the world.”

She then tagged her partner Billy and said “It’s coming together”. The next story then showed Amy’s kids enjoying the heatwave and playing in the pool.

Before the burglary incident came to light, Amy had been sharing snaps of her time away with followers. Just a week ago she shared a loved-up post showing her kissing her husband while on holiday, and then of her daughters in matching outfits enjoying dinner while away on holiday.

“Having the most Beautiful time with the Family…making memories that will last forever,” she penned in the caption of the post.

“Polly and Milly are totally inseparable, seeing this makes me so [emotional emoji] I wished I had a sister growing up got Wills instead (only joking) the bond is unbreakable.”

Amy is also the mother to Ritchie, an older son born in 2018, who will turn eight later this year. She has kept her eldest child out of the spotlight after an agreement she made with his father.
