Disgraced reality TV star Stephen Bear has been jailed for 16 months for breaching a restraining order that banned him from posting online about his ex-girlfriend Georgia Harrison.
The order was imposed when he was sentenced to 21 months in prison for filming and sharing a sex tape of former Love Island star Georgia – who waived her legal right to anonymity – on OnlyFans without her consent.
He served just over half of the sentence and was released from HMP Brixton on licence in January 2024.
Judge Christopher Morgan told Bear, 36, he was “simply victim blaming” after he launched a social media campaign against Georgia, 31, last year while she was pregnant.
He said of Bear’s posts, which included claims of a conspiracy against him: “He said: “Over three to four months you consistently posted messages of the most abhorrent and harmful type. You accused her of being a liar.”
The judge added: ““I take the view, as you must understand, that your explanation and justification for doing what you did in that three to four month period is simply victim blaming.”
Bear, who shook his head as he was taken away to be returned to jail today, began posting on Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube and Facebook about the case and Georgia between 1 March 2025 and 21 July 2025.
Georgia did not attend court but in a statement read to Chelmsford Crown Court today she said Bear’s online presence left her “feeling petrified” and she feared for her safety for the first time.
The former TOWIE star, who has become a campaigner for online privacy, also said the stress “caused her to spiral” and made her worry about her unborn child.
Former Celebrity Big Brother winner Bear arrived at court this afternoon hand-in-hand with his pregnant wife Miami, waving and saying “wish me luck, guys” as he went into the court building.
Bear and his Brazilian partner announced in March that they are expecting their first child.
Speaking after the sentencing, Georgia said: “Essex Police took me seriously when so many women in my position are overlooked. They treated this as the serious crime it is – not a celebrity story. It is a real offence against a real person.
“They built the case properly, they stayed with it, and when the order was breached, they acted instead of shrugging. From the messages I get every day, I know how rare that still is. If every force treated this the way Essex Police did, thousands of women would feel safer today.”
The judge also extended the restraining order to stop Bear from contacting Georgia’s mother and her friend.
Last year Georgia Harrison was awarded an MBE for her services to campaigning for better legislation tackling violence against women and was given the honour by Prince William at Windsor Castle.
