Pop producer William Orbit – who had huge hits with the likes of Madonna and All Saint, has died at the age of 69.
A statement on Instagram attributed to family and friends revealed that he died at home on 23 July. It said: “It is with profound sadness that the family and friends of William Orbit announce that William died at home on 23 July, 2026.
“We are deeply saddened by his passing. He will be greatly missed by us and by so many whose lives he touched through his music, friendship and kindness,” the statement read. No cause of death was given.
