Safiyya Vorajee is in a new relationship after her heartbreaking split with reality star, Ashley Cain. The couple broke up in 2022 following the loss of their baby daughter, Azaliya, who tragically died from leukaemia.
Safiyya, 38, who set up the Azaliya Cain Foundation with Ashley to fight childhood cancer, has stayed publicly single since their breakup. However, now, after a summer of ‘healing’ in Bali, she says she has found love again.
Sharing a loved up snap, cuddled up to her new man, Safiyya told her followers that the universe had intervened when she went on holiday this summer. The new partner in her life has been revealed as Dutch influencer, Virgil Sint Jago.
Virgil is a buff fitness coach with a penchant for travel with his Instagram page filled with pictures of his adventures around the world.
With a growing career in the spotlight, he has also appeared on numerous reality TV shows, including the Dutch physical and mental competition show Muscles & Brains.
Safiyya, who is understood to have met the personal trainer on holiday in Indonesia, told fans: “Happy the universe changed my direction from Thailand to Bali.
“In a world that’s so big we met exactly where we were meant to feel so happy. God always gets the timing right. Trust in him always. The most magical connection when you feel it in your soul.”
The former dental nurse also said: “This place has become home to a part of me I thought I’d lost forever.
“The beauty, the people, the energy… it’s impossible to put into words. There’s something so magical here that has healed parts of my soul I didn’t even realise were still hurting.”
Revealing she’d made ‘lifelong connections’, she continued: “I’ve grown so much. My nervous system has finally experienced what real calm feels like. I’ve let my guard down, allowed myself to be vulnerable, and in doing that, I’ve found friendships and connections that have changed me forever.
“For the first time in a long time, I’m choosing me. I’m choosing peace. I’m choosing joy. I’m choosing to believe that life still has beautiful chapters waiting for me.”
Sharing her excitement for the future, she signed off: “Bali isn’t just a destination. It’s a feeling. And somehow, it reminded me who I was before the world broke my heart. The next chapter is coming and this one feels exciting.”
Safiyya was in a relationship with Ex On The Beach star, Ashley – who welcomed his second child in 2023 – from 2017 until 2022. The pair announced their split in March 2022, with the TV star it “was an incredibly tough decision”.
Taking to Instagram to share news of their split, Ashley wrote: “After a devastating and heartbreaking year, Safiyya and I decided to separate a few months ago. This was an incredibly though decision which we needed to keep to ourselves for some time to give us the opportunity to figure out our own journey privately.”
