The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have unveiled the highly anticipated trailer on Saturday evening at an event in Bengaluru. And staying true to the expectations, it is filled with action and raw intensity. Toxic trailer clearly aims to breaks away from the regular practice of having theatrical trailers for around two minutes. Instead, the four-minute trailer offers a glimpse into the film’s massive production design and scale.
Toxic has father-son conflict?
Toxic trailer begins with the introduction of Yash’s violent character Raya alongside an apologetic child. Later, it moves on to unveiling important characters, played by Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria. The trailer also introduces another version of Yash’s character, reportedly Raya’s son. Toxic is set with the backdrop of the underworld, whilst also hinting at a father-son conflict at the heart of the story.
However, the film appears to be driven around power, romance and betrayal. And the trailer hints at exactly this and much more.
Yash’s nude scene
Fans get to watch Yash’s multiple striking avatars in the trailer. His rugged look and intense screen presence are too good to resist. Amidst all the action, Yash’s nude scene has grabbed eyeballs and left fans shocked! While some netizens pointed that his nude scene would be a shock value in the film, others expressed that the timing and the context of the narrative would define the scene.

Director Geetu Mohandas earlier shared that the film is also for global audiences. And the visuals in the trailer look striking, the sharp cuts, dark tones and surreal camera angles.
