Modi, US VP JD Vance Hold Phone Talks to Boost Strategic Ties

New Delhi:Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday held a telephonic conversation with J.D. Vance, the Vice President of the United States of America.

While much details of the conversation were not available immediately, PM Modi said the discussion focused on ways to deepen India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership across key areas.

PM also congratulated Mr and Mrs Vance on the birth of their son.

“Received a phone call from US Vice President JD Vance. We discussed ways to further deepen India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership across key areas. Warmly congratulated him and the Second Lady on the birth of their son and conveyed best wishes to the entire family,” Mr Modi wrote on X.
