Noel and Liam Gallagher are heading back on the road next year with Knebworth and the Etihad stadium the two confirmed venues for now in June and September

Oasis fans are set for another scramble for tickets in a matter of weeks – after the band joined in the ongoing talk of their 2027 tour.
Sources close to the band have confirmed to the Mirror the band plan to play Manchester City’s Etihad stadium in June before returning to Knebworth the scene of their biggest ever gigs, later in the year and likely in September. Full confirmation of the tour and ticket prices are now imminent.
Last week the promoter of the Oasis 2025 reunion tour secured a licence to host events at Knebworth, just days before the 30th anniversary of the band’s historic concerts there.
The band continued to tease fans by posting throwback videos and photos on the anniversary of the shows, with excitement at fever pitch. The posts included the song Acquiesce and also throwback photos and shots of original ticket stubs. Liam responded to the band’s post saying: “We want MORE.”
When directly asked about our original 12 nights at the Etihad story, frontman Liam responded to a fan to say: “12 I thought it was 10 ffs”. As another fan said they were desperate for the dates to be announced, Liam replied: “You are not the boss we will announce when the time is righteous.”
The new licence granted by North Hertfordshire Council to SJM Concerts gives them a premises licence for Knebworth House. It allows events for up to 125,000 people, with live music and dance performances permitted until 03:00 and it remains in place indefinitely, meaning the full dates for the shows are not yet confirmed.
The band’s former publicist Johnny Hopkins is sure the shows will happen and also says he expects the tickets to be reasonably priced and possibly cheaper than the most expensive tickets at the Oasis Live 25 reunion shows.
At a Q&A event last week he said:“I imagine they will do it more reasonably. I was really surprised the tickets were done in the way they were. Ticketmaster put their hands up and took the blame for it.”
The Mirror understands that any official announcement about tickets for the 2027 shows is being held back whilst the new documentary Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger is publicised and promoted.
The London Premiere takes place on September 7 and so tickets could go on sale after or around this date or after some current promotion has finished. Both Noel and Liam are expected at the premiere in London and the World premiere at the Venice film festival.
The Manchester dates for Oasis, thought to be a total of 12 nights, were first revealed by the Mirror’s sister paper the Manchester Evening news. Anticipation ramped up after it was revealed the city’s Parklife festival had shifted its traditional schedule to Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th July 2027 – compared to previous mid June dates.
Multiple sources in the City say Oasis are gearing up for a long stay there next Summer. And the venue makes perfect sense with both Noel and Liam Gallagher being big Manchester City fans.
They are also set to play a run of six concerts at Knebworth. Other European dates have also been heavily rumoured, but for now it seems the UK dates are more concrete, and will be the first ones announced.
The reunion announcement in 2024 came 15 years after Noel quit the Britpop band, saying he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer”, following a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
The 2025 tour kicked off in Cardiff in July before visiting Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin’s Croke Park throughout July, August and September.
The group then headed to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America.
The band is led by lead guitarist Noel and his frontman brother Liam. Oasis signed to independent record label Creation Records in 1993, rising to fame with the release of their debut chart-topping album Definitely Maybe on August 29 1994 followed by (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? Which became one of the biggest selling albums ever released in 1995.
