Hello and welcome to our coverage of the 66th TV Week Logie Awards!

Our live blog will start on the red carpet, with Deputy Lifestyle Editor Courtney Thompson taking us through the best looks of the afternoon, while Lifestyle writer Abby Seaman will be combing through the photos for our red carpet gallery. On the ground, reporters Karl Quinn and Bronte Gossling will be talking to the stars as they arrive.

The afternoon will go something like this:

  • Red carpet from 3.30pm.
  • Live broadcast starts at 7pm on Seven and 7Pus, with the red carpet show.
  • The awards start at 7.30pm, hosted by the golden boy himself, Robert Irwin.
  • Voting for the Most Popular Awards will be open until 7.30pm, while voting for the Gold Logie, for the most popular personality on Australian television, closes at 10.30pm.

We’d also love to hear from you, our readers, about what you think of the event, so please leave a comment (be polite!) or vote in our Gold Logie poll and bolls for best drama and scripted comedy.

I hope you can stick with us for some – or all! – of the event, which I shamelessly love for its celebration of Australian TV.

Our reporters Karl Quinn and Bronte Gossling predict who will take home gold, live from the Logies red carpet.

It’s nearly go time! Blogger Fashion Critical was down at the Star this morning, making sure everything was ready to go. Hopefully, the vacuums have been packed away by now.
