The 2027 Champions League Final Four tournaments for men and women will take place in Belgrade, European Aquatics announced today.
The tournament will be held at the pool at the Sports Center “11 April”, which hosted three men’s Champions League Final Eight tournaments (2021, 2022, 2023).
The semifinals will be played on May 12 (women) and May 13 (men). The medal matches are scheduled for May 14 and 15.
Barceloneta will try to defend the title in men’s competition. Olympiacos is the reigning champion in the Women’s Champions League. Last year, both F4 tournaments were held in Malta.
Pro Recco, the runner-up in the 2026 Champions League, dominated at the previous three Final Eights in Belgrade, winning the title three times.
Novi Beograd, the host of the three Final Eights, played in the finals in 2022 and 2023, while it didn’t participate in the 2021 Champions League.
The Serbian team reached the final three times (2022, 2023 and 2024). Unlike 2022 and 2023, Novi Beograd won’t have a guaranteed automatic place in the Final Four.
The season in the Men’s Champions League starts on September 18 with the Qualification Round. Novi Beograd is one of the participants and aims to qualify for the elite competition from the group in Oradea. In this round, it will compete against Oradea, Spandau 04, and Strasbourg.
