New parents Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews are just over a week in from welcoming their fourth child into the world and big sacrifices are having to be made

Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews are sleeping in other rooms after the arrival of baby number four – and he’s starting to feel like they’ve had a huge row!

The married pair welcomed Remy into the world last week, the baby joins Theo, seven, Gigi, six, and Otto, four as their family gets even. Now, nine days after the arrival, Spencer is back behind the mic and he joined Jamie Laing’s fitting Newly Parents podcast and has spoken about how he and Vogue are surviving, with the school run back on now too.

As most busy parents will tell you, they’ll do what it takes to get through the day and just to add to their battle they are building at their home meaning the couple are living in a rented house. He told Jamie about the sacrifices they have to make and Spencer hopes normality can return soon.

“I’m not complaining, but we are in that lovely bubble with three other young kids in a rental house because we’re building, so to be honest the bubble feels a bit disturbed there’s a lot going on,'” he explained to his Made In Chelsea pal, confirming they he is in the spare room

“Vogue and I both in our own ways feel a bit lonely at the moment. We don’t sleep next to each other. I’m out. I’m working. Vogue’s more at home at the moment. I come home in the evening and we might have an hour together,’ he continued.

“We’ll eat something and maybe put something on TV, but she’s tired and so am I. So, she goes to bed separately to me.

“I don’t really like sleeping separately to her. We like being next to each other. Even if you’re not communicating, you’re together. At the moment it feels a bit fractured. It sort of feels like you’ve fallen out because you’re staying in another room.”

With the help of their nanny, Spencer says he is very much “in charge” of his three older children in the mornings while Vogue prioritises their newborn.

He says his wife “has got the hardest job” and accepts he would really struggle with looking after Remy all the time.

Vogue and Spencer first met while they were filming reality TV series The Jump in 2017. They soon started dating and announced their engagement at the beginning of 2018. Later that year, they tied the knot.

Vogue previously revealed her wish to name the child after one of America’s rock n’ roll greats. But she said she was instantly vetoed by her in-laws, entrepreneur David Matthews and his artist wife, Jane.

Discussing the issue with close friend Joanne McNally on the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, Vogue confessed to wanting to call the tot Elvis – but she was shot down.

She confirmed their sob’s arrival with fans on the social media platform, posting a beautiful string of photos from her hospital bed.

One photo included her brood meeting their little brother for the first time. She captioned the post: “Our beautiful baby boy has arrived safely… The house is bursting with excitement, love and happiness and we couldn’t be more delighted.”
