A man was seen dancing to their music, and the clip has already gone viral on social media, as people can’t believe who was seen having a blast at the gig in Ireland. The moment left Westlife devotees stunned after it was reported a pretty famous footballer was seen having the time of his life at a recent show.
It’s not the first time the Irish band has hit the headlines this year either. Previously, it was confirmed they had hit a major music high too.

TikTok user Nessy Mon posted footage of the alleged sighting, leaving many gobsmacked as they struggled to believe who was dancing amongst the crowd. She captioned the video: “Wayne Rooney shakes his tush at Westlife in the 3Arena in Dublin.”
The clip shows him on his feet, grooving along to the band’s smash hit “Hello My Love”. He seemed to be absolutely loving every minute.
The footage was reportedly filmed on September 11, and it’s had fans buzzing with excitement. It’s certainly sparked plenty of conversation online.
One person said: “Westlife sang at Wayne Rooney’s wedding!” Another added: “Wayne Rooney and Shane Filan in the same room.”
A third replied: “Is that John O’Shea beside him? What?” Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “Love this for you Wayne.”
Yet, when further clips were shared, some viewers were so taken aback that they refused to believe it was actually him. Someone else replied: “That’s not him.”

Despite the scepticism, reports suggest he did attend the concert. He is alleged to have been accompanied by former Republic of Ireland internationals John O’Shea and Darron Gibson for the night out, with some viewers claiming they could spot them alongside him in the footage.
The video caught many off-guard, as fans struggled to believe they were actually there. However, it has been widely reported that Wayne and his wife Coleen are devoted Westlife fans.
