Shirley Ballas looked to be fanning the flames of romance with her apparent new man months . The pair were seen looking cosy before heading out on a coffee date. The Strictly judge, 66, is said to be growing close to handsome Giuseppe Nonnis, 36.
Despite the 30-year age gap, the duo appeared to have intense chemistry in a clip Shirley shared on her Instagram. The duo are seen looking extremely close as they perform in front of a group of fellow dancers.
The footage, filmed in July, was used to promote a dance camp Shirley is part of. And in the clip, she is seen locking eyes with Giuseppe as they put on a scintillating Latin display.
While the video was initially shared by Shirley, Giuseppe seemingly loved it too, pinning it to the top of his profile. The latest snaps come after the pair were spotted enjoying a dog walk together as speculation about their relationship continues.
The duo snuggled up to each other as they enjoyed a drinks break. And earlier this month Giuseppe was spotted at Shirley’s 66th birthday celebration as they took in Mamma Mia! The Party at London’s O2.
Shirley split from ex-fiance Danny Taylor in 2024 fter a six-year relationship. At the time, she revealed she had no desire to enter into another relationship – but that appears to have changed.
Speaking to the Mirror last year, she revealed exactly what went wrong with her past romance. She said she was cuddling up in bed with her 87-year-old mum Audrey at 9pm on the day of her 64th birthday, her phone suddenly lit up and her world came crashing down.
She had been contacted by a relative of Danny saying he was missing. They revealed his phone was off and his family were very worried about him. Suddenly thoughts came rushing back of her brother David who had tragically taken his own life, in 2003, aged 44.
“All those memories came flooding back…it triggered all these emotions,” she said. Her number was passed to the police who were also concerned about the circumstances, and she spent the next few hours frantically trying to track Danny down, calling around all his friends and family.
When she realised early morning WhatsApps had been read, she explained how relief soon turned to anger as Danny reappeared the next day and carried on as if nothing had happened.
She revealed she almost immediately realised that she couldn’t have someone in her life who could cause her such agony again. “I will never forget that day until the day I die,” she said.
“I remember looking across in the middle of the night and I saw my mother was just so upset, reliving all of her trauma. I just thought ‘this can’t go on’. Not just for my sake, but my mum too.”
Shirley has been married twice and engaged four times. She had been with Danny for six years after they met while starring in a pantomime together 2018. They got engaged in 2021, before calling it quits in 2024.
