Rash Behari Bose was one of India’s most daring freedom fighters, challenging British rule years before Subhas Chandra Bose rose to prominence.
In 1912, he was involved in the attack on Viceroy Lord Hardinge—and later walked into his government office without being recognised.

He later played a key role in the Ghadar movement, escaped to Japan, helped build the Indian Independence League and the Indian National Army (INA), and eventually handed its leadership to Subhas Chandra Bose.
