Chennai: Actor Radha has accused her sister, actress Ambika Nair, and their brother, Mallikarjuna Kunjan Nair, of allegedly stealing signed bank cheques from her room and attempting to encash them for ₹46 crore.
Radha lodged a complaint at the Chennai Police Commissioner’s office, alleging that the siblings entered her room without her permission, took signed blank cheques kept there and later filled them in before presenting them to a bank.
According to her complaint, Radha received an email from her bank on September 17, 2026, informing her that cheques had been presented for encashment in the name of Ambika Nair.
Radha said she immediately contacted the bank and requested that the transactions be stopped, alleging that the cheques had been stolen and misused for unlawful gain.
She further stated that she had never handed over the cheques to Ambika to settle any legally payable debt or liability, and claimed that there had been no financial transaction between the two sisters.
