Arun Atlee Kumar, also known as Atlee, turned 40 today on September 21, 2026. Before becoming a household name in Hindi cinema, he created a series of blockbusters with the one and only Vijay across multiple movies, including Theri (2016), Mersal (2017), and Bigil (2019).
His next ambitious project came in Bollywood when he teamed up with Shah Rukh Khan to make a mega blockbuster, Jawan. The movie went on to collect more than 1,100 crores in gross collection worldwide, with more than Rs 640 crores coming from India itself.

In celebration of Atlee’s 40th birthday, the Pushpa actor Allu Arjun conveyed his wishes. Taking to X, Arjun poured his heart out to express his admiration for the acclaimed director and the pride he holds to have worked under his vision. Six months ago, an announcement trailer was made regarding a new project Allu Arjun would be a part of. No further details were provided for the upcoming pan India movie, #AA23, apart from Allu Arjun being the lead actor and the director being Lokesh Kanagaraj. Allu Arjun is truly having an exciting year with some key projects lined up.
