Hyderabad: A Deep Depression is approaching the North Andhra coast and is expected to cross the coast near Srikakulam on September 23. This is likely to impact Telangana from the morning of September 24, with the effect expected to continue until the night of September 25.
Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts are likely to receive heavy rainfall on September 24 and 25. A few places in these districts may receive rainfall of up to 200 mm.
Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Rajanna-Sircilla, Hanamkonda, Warangal, Jangaon, Mahabubabad, Khammam and Suryapet districts may receive moderate to heavy rainfall over the next two days.
The remaining districts are likely to receive moderate rainfall, with some places recording 20–40 mm. Hyderabad city may also receive moderate rainfall during this period.
