Things went from bad to worse for the Giants on Monday Night Football.
After losing QB Jason Dart to a knee injury and being dominated on both sides of the ball by the Rams, they lost one of their key defensive pieces late in the fourth quarter.

Star pass rusher Brian Burns suffered a low ankle sprain.
With Los Angeles leading by 22 points and just six minutes remaining on the clock, Burns had to be tended to after having his left ankle rolled up on.
Burns went down for quite some time behind the play, then was only able to put very little weight on his leg as he was helped to the sideline by the training staff.
The Pro Bowler had his ankle wrapped up, and was unable to return to the field in the closing minutes of the contest.
Postgame, head coach John Harbaugh revealed the prognosis.
Burns has gotten off to a very quiet start over the first two games this season, but losing him for any amount of time is a costly blow for the Giants‘ defense.
The 28-year-old was square in the middle of things for the group most of last year.
