Los Angeles Rams TE Terrance Ferguson had six receptions (on nine targets) for 54 yards and a touchdown during the team’s Week 2 win over the New York Giants.
Why It Matters: While Davante Adams was the star on Monday night, Ferguson was the other main beneficiary of Puka Nacua (hip) being inactive. The second-year tight end finished second to Adams in targets, catches, and yards on Monday night, which was a good sign after he was hardly involved in Week 1. For as good as the duo of Nacua and Adams is, there could still be room for a legitimate contributor at the tight end position, and Ferguson should be that guy. One good game doesn’t elevate the former Duck to TE1 status by any means, but he’s certainly an interesting option to carry as your TE2.
