Los Angeles Dodgers ace Tarik Skubal spent Monday night at SoFi Stadium, taking in the Los Angeles Rams’ 28-6 win over the New York Giants. The appearance marked another crossover between two of the city’s major sports franchises, with Skubal attending his first Rams game since joining the Dodgers.

Skubal appeared on the field before the game wearing a black Rhude T-shirt and also posed for a photo with Rams tight end Colby Parkinson. The Dodgers acquired the two-time American League Cy Young Award winner from the Detroit Tigers in an August 2 blockbuster trade involving three prospects.
The Rams shared the field-level photos on their official X account, formerly Twitter, ahead of Monday night’s victory.

Skubal has quickly become a major piece of the Dodgers’ rotation. The 29-year-old currently holds a 4-2 record and 2.95 ERA through nine starts for Los Angeles since arriving from Detroit.

His most recent start came Saturday against the San Francisco Giants, when he allowed four earned runs over five innings in a 10-4 Dodgers victory. Los Angeles placed Skubal on the bereavement list Sunday, with the left-hander expected to spend a couple of days away from the team. MLB rules allow players to remain on the bereavement list for three to seven days.

Monday provided a different setting for Skubal as the Rams earned their first victory of the season. Matthew Stafford threw for 327 yards and four touchdowns, while Davante Adams caught eight passes for 195 yards and two scores. Aaron Donald also made his 2026 season debut after coming out of retirement, adding another marquee moment to a night that brought several prominent Los Angeles sports figures together at SoFi Stadium.
