Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting has introduced its CCH tax and accounting brand in Belgium, making the country the first continental European market to adopt the portfolio.
The move brings several of the company’s tax and accounting products in Belgium under one brand. They include CCH Clearfacts, CCH Codabox, CCH Flowin and CCH Clearnox.
The products became part of Wolters Kluwer in 2024 following its acquisition of Isabel Group’s European accountancy portfolio.
The company noted that Adsolut Personenbelasting will be renamed CCH Personal Tax.
CCH, the global portfolio brand for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, combines tax and accounting expertise with connected workflows, cloud technology and AI-enabled capabilities.
The “intelligent capabilities” are delivered through Wolters Kluwer’s Expert AI layer, which is intended to support professional judgement, the company said in the statement.
It added that customers can continue using the products while benefitting from a “more unified portfolio” aligned with Wolters Kluwer’s wider direction for the profession.
Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting Belgium, Netherlands and UK vice-president and general manager Marie Costers said: “In accountancy, we are seeing a clear ‘shift to the left’: invoice management and allocation are increasingly moving into pre-accounting.
“By automating these processes and connecting the entire accounting workflow, we are helping accountants accelerate their transition towards a more strategic role as financial and compliance advisors.
“With CCH, accountants now have access to a single, connected ecosystem covering the entire workflow, from pre- to core and post-accounting.”
The launch follows Wolters Kluwer’s shift towards cloud-based and intelligent products and represents the first stage of a wider CCH rollout across continental Europe.
Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting Europe executive vice-president and managing director Bas Kniphorst said: “Belgium is the natural place to introduce CCH in continental Europe.
“Around one in three companies here already works with one of our solutions, and Belgian accountants are among the most digitally advanced on the continent.
“By bringing one of the world’s most trusted tax and accounting brands to a market where we already have deep roots, we are combining local innovation with more than a century of global expertise to create one connected ecosystem for accountants and their clients.”
“Wolters Kluwer introduces CCH brand in Belgium” was originally created and published by International Accounting Bulletin, a GlobalData owned brand.
