Boy rushed to hospital after being trampled by cow in the middle of the night

A boy in his early teens was rushed to hospital after he was trampled by a steer at a cattle yard west of Brisbane in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Paramedics were called at 12.25am to the Dalby Sale Yards, where they found the teen in a life-threatening condition.

He was rushed the Dalby Hospital, and Workplace Health and Safety officials were on the scene at 7am.

The sale yards hold cattle auctions every Wednesday.
