Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has begun his address to the UN General Assembly, accusing the United States of carrying out “illegal” attacks on Iran.
Pezeshkian said Iranians had been “victims of terrorism” and that Iran’s Supreme Leader was assassinated “without any legal framework or reason”. He also referred to the US strike on the Minab primary school, saying, “they bombed a school”, in reference to the attack on the opening day of the war.
