The Wonderwall hitmakers went on a tour last year and it sparked a meltdown as more than 10 million fans from 158 countries scrambled to secure tickets. An estimated £1 billion was generated for the UK economy.
But there were also complaints about waiting for hours in online queues, and they faced much higher prices than those initially advertised. Oasis spoke out and said they did not agree with dynamic pricing.
The band played 41 dates, which banked over £300million in ticket sales in 2025. With other lucrative deals with Adidas and other brands, it was estimated that the Gallagher brothers earned over £50m each. And they could do so again next year.
The new shows are expected to land them a similar £50million payday, with 42 dates – one more than last time – in the calendar, including some large arenas.
They include the 60,000-capacity Etihad in Manchester, the 65,000-capacity Gillette Stadium in Boston and Knebworth House in Hertfordshire which, as it’s set in a park, can hold 125,000 a night. Oasis will play six nights there.
Sales for the tour are due to kick off on Friday and continue through the weekend. There is no public sale or general sale this time round for tickets in an effort to keep things fair amid the huge demand.
Fans who have been randomly selected to try for tickets will receive instructions from oasis@openstageit.com. Each day will consist of three separate sale times at the earliest is Friday morning at 9am.
Standard tickets will cost £71.50, £104.50, £170.50, £203.50 and £263.50, including fees for seated tickets. Those wanting to get standing tickets will part with £170.50 and £203.50, including fees. Hotel packages are also available, as are coach and VIP packages.
Sharing the news of the tour, Oasis said: “START THE CELEBRATIONS!!!! After a period of reflection, ‘The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History’ has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people. Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.”
At the time of the initial announcement, only four dates were shared, with fans speculating that two additional dates would be added later. And now, they have confirmed that they will be performing six nights at the legendary venue.
Oasis last performed at Knebworth in August 1996, with over a quarter of a million fans attending across the two nights.
Now, with their six nights confirmed, the almighty band have taken over the record from Robbie Williams, who performed three consecutive nights at the venue in August 2003.
