Just over a month ago, he wondered if his NFL career might be over.
“Sometimes, it is hard to continue and trust and believe,” the Giants backup quarterback told The Post on Thursday. “Four weeks ago, I didn’t know if I was gonna be in a camp. I didn’t know if I was gonna be on a team. I didn’t know what was going on. There were a lot of signs that said I wasn’t gonna be in the league this year.
“I thought I might have to play in the UFL or the CFL. I thought, ‘Should I go to Canada? Is the NFL done?’ All these things were on the table.”
