Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has made special arrangements in view of the Ganesh immersion to ensure that passengers do not face any inconvenience.
Around 700 special buses are being operated for the Ganesh immersion, with services running round the clock from various parts of the city. Special bus services will be operated from Hussain Sagar to different parts of the city.
RTC officials have been deployed on 44 key locations to coordinate traffic diversions. A dedicated traffic control room has also been set up at the Zonal Office to monitor the movement of passengers and bus operations.
Special RTC camps have been set up at Khairatabad, Lakdikapul, Basheerbagh, Indira Park and AIR. RTC relief vans have been stationed near the Old MLA Quarters, Indira Park and V.V. Statue to attend to emergencies.
A total of 113 drivers and 87 mechanics have been deployed near police stations to respond to any emergency breakdowns involving buses.
APSRTC, KSRTC and other city and interstate bus services will be diverted in accordance with traffic police instructions.
