The Mijwan runway fashion show has been one of India’s most successful couture shows hosted by the highly decorated Manish Malhotra and Shabana Azmi. Over the years, many stars have featured as showstoppers for the show as well as supported the non-profit organisation in its endeavours.

The Mijwan Welfare Society (MWS) was created in the simple roots of a small village, Mizwan by a celebrated Urdu poet, Kaifi Azmi. After his passing in 2002, his daughter, Shabana Azmi took over the leadership to carry on her father’s dream of scaling the vision.

This year, Manish Malhotra and Shabana Azmi collaborated to bring forward the 15th edition of the Mijwan fashion show.

On September 26, 2026, Manish Malhotra took to his social media to express the weight of emotions circulating around this magnificent event. He said, “The emotional journey of Mijwan… Grateful to all the stars and artists who have supported us and been our muses. Celebrating #15yearsofMijwan.”
