Hyderabad: Actor Allu Sirish has raised a complaint with the Film Nagar Police Station over loud music allegedly being played beyond permissible decibel levels until late at night.
Sharing a post on X, Allu Sirish said he lives at Aparna One in Shaikpet and alleged that loud music has been played at the Hanuman Temple in Vinobha Nagar until around 2 am or 3 am for the past few days.
He said he had already approached the Film Nagar Police Station regarding the issue. According to Sirish, police had initially asked him to bear with the noise until September 25 in view of the Ganesh immersion celebrations.
However, Sirish said that the loud music continued even after the festival. He said several residents, including elderly people, children and working professionals, had been disturbed by the noise and that multiple complaints had been raised over the issue.
Responding to his post, Hyderabad City Police said the matter had been shared with the Film Nagar Police Station for necessary action.
