After 23 years now, Madonna has returned to the stage with a star-studded list of collaborators, including Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter.

During her speech, Madonna shared how she contacted Sabrina first through her management team and didn’t get a reply from them for five days, which led her to DM the Taste singer. Social media users wondered if that was Madonna’s jab at Sabrina, since they felt that the latter was seen awkwardly smiling as she replied:
“My team replies! Just so everybody knows, they do respond to people. I respond faster, so a direct line to me is always the best way to get in contact.”
Madonna then replied, “Okay, so we’re gonna go back there and have a drink or something,” which left Sabrina smiling again. The queen of pop further praised Sabrina by calling her professional. However, even though the banter between Sabrina and Madonna was fun, social media users now wonder whether the latter took a shot at the former. Madonna’s praising words were:
