Jerry Hall has revealed that she set out strict instructions for her ex, Mick Jagger, ahead of an upcoming TV appearance – and says her children have warned her to be “careful”. The Celebrity Traitors returns for a second series this week (October 1), bringing a fresh line-up of famous faces to the now legendary Scottish castle for another run of amateur sleuthing and deceit.
Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the BBC reality show will welcome the likes of actor Michael Sheen, Love Island’s Maya Jama, EastEnders star Ross Kemp, Corrie’s Julie Hesmondhalgh, and funnyman Romesh Ranganathan
Another big name joining the show is Texas-born supermodel Jerry, who was in a relationship with The Rolling Stones frontman Mick from 1977 to 1999. They have four adult children together: Elizabeth, Georgia, James and Gabriel.
Jerry, who admits she’s “completely obsessed” with the show, says her kids gave her a warning before she headed off to the Highlands for filming – and has set out strict instructions for Mick.
She explained to The i Paper: “I told Mick that I’d let my four children know that if any of them had a problem, they were to call him because I was busy.”
Jerry also told The Mail that they warned her: “Mom, don’t do anything dangerous! Be careful. You think you’re younger than you are. You and Dad are always doing things that you did in your twenties that maybe you shouldn’t be doing now.”
She added: “I’m very competitive, as is Mick and our children. Everyone wants to win. I tend to be the leader when it comes to games. But I’m going to try to behave.”
In total, 21 celebrities will take part in the show – including actor Richard E Grant and singer James Blunt – divided into “Faithfuls” and “Traitors” as they compete to win £100,000 for charity.
In June, Jerry, who was also married to Rupert Murdoch, let slip that she hadn’t seen the media mogul since their “traumatic” divorce. The former couple tied the knot at a Fleet Street church in 2016.
In 2022, Hall filed for divorce in a US court, highlighting “irreconcilable differences”. Speaking to , Jerry said: “Not all exes you want to be friends with, do you?
“Some people aren’t friendly. But I think when you have children with someone, it’s important to be friendly”.
She went on to say that she and the billionaire business magnate were married for six and a half years and had “no children”. Jerry added that she hadn’t seen him “in a couple of years. Since the divorce”.
Jerry noted that these break-ups are “always traumatic”. Murdoch, 95, married for a fifth time in 2024 to retired Russian biologist Elena Zhukova.
